Indonesia Stand
Meriem: Good afternoon. We are a group of students from the American Language Center and we are conducting a project with our English teacher about this great event.
Interviewee: We would be happy to help you. We represent the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture.
Meriem: What could you tell us about Indonesian agriculture?
Interviewee: In Asia, 50 percent of our land belongs to agricultural products, so we have everything we need in our country.
Meriem: What are the benefits of participating at SIAM?
Interviewee. This is our second time here in Meknes. We were invited by the Moroccan government, and we hope to develop our cooperation in agriculture. Also, we came here with our businessmen who want to invest in your rich country. We have many products in Indonesia but this year we intend to make Moroccan people taste our chocolate. Most products exhibited here are related to chocolate. You may be surprised to learn that Indonesia is the second country that produces the most chocolate in the world.
Meriem: Do you think you will be able to invest in Morocco in chocolate?
Interviewee: We have many competitors but we will try, and we hope to find support from your people. We are optimistic about the good relationship that ties our two countries.
