A Letter of Thanks
Dear Students,
Coming to Morocco and teaching at the ALC has been one of the most eye-opening experiences in my life. You, the students, have served as a window into Moroccan culture, life, and traditions, which as a result has given me incredible insight into your world. You have shared your dreams, fears, bad moments, and good moments. You have made me laugh, made me think, and even made me question myself. Because of you, I have grown in all aspects as an individual, and I hope that I have perhaps touched you in the same way.
As a part of the writing club, I enjoyed seeing new and familiar faces each week. I loved your inspiration and your desire to learn, as well as the ideas you shared during our sessions. I loved reading your thoughts, opinions, and stories, which you so graciously shared with us time and time again. The writing club has been one of the shining moments of my time here, and this magazine will be a beautiful reminder of it.
Last but not least, I would like to thank Khadija for kindly allowing me to work with the club. Thanks to her, I have learned new activities and techniques that will help me in the future as I continue my career in education. In addition, she has put an incredible amount of time and passion into creating this magazine. All of her efforts are done 100% for the students, an attribute which is rarely seen in some teachers today. So the next time you see her, thank her!
All in all, I would like to thank everyone for being so kind, gracious, and welcoming during my time here as a teacher. It has been an honor to work with you, and an honor to be a part of this magazine. I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors, hope that all your dreams come true, and last but not least…that you enjoy our magazine!
Sincerely,
Chelsea
